A multi-layered portrait of Dustin Byfuglien of the Winnipeg Jets ice hockey team. The colourful and complex background collage depicts the crazy ups and downs of Byfuglien's career at the Jets. The title refers to the way in which a famous sportsman can be hailed as a hero one minute then jeered at as a villain the next. The actual portrait of the Jets star sits about an inch and a half above the collage and was created using pencil, colour pencil, fine-line pen and graphic marker.
